PLANNING FOR SUSTAINABLE WOODLANDS

This seminar will address some of the issues facing planners, architects and residents of this most wooded corner of England.  A sustainable future for our woodland heritage may depend on the development of new markets for local timber, including construction.  The theme of the afternoon will be to meet the challenge of how to build new houses in the countryside in an environmentally sustainable way, whilst offering affordable homes for those who actually manage these important protected landscapes.

 Registration fee: £20 organisations, £10 individuals.
