Promoting the use of locally-grown timber in construction

Welcome to TimberBuild Network

We encourage the sustainable use of locally grown timber in the construction industry by:

  • Supporting local timber producers to satisfy construction market requirements
  • Promoting local timber to the construction industry, thereby generating market demand

‘Sustainability’ is not a fixed goal; rather, a direction, and the further we move in that direction the better. Driven by the move toward ‘sustainable development’, timber is regaining favour as a useful construction material. The TimberBuild Network was set up in 2003 to encourage the many facets of the construction industry within the UK to make more use of locally-grown timber. Find out more about us »
